The Very Best Christmas Gift - 2008

Got the very best christmas gift from Qantas Frequent Flyer points in 2008. In fact, the only reason driving me to use the points is that me and my partner were thinking to close another credit card account which we didn't use as often before. Also there were not many choices of redemption offered by the bank. So we decided to transfer all the points to frequent flyer points. Maybe I was bit selfish then, because I saw something that I'd always wanted in the redemption menu on frequent flyer's page. I really rubbed this in and tried hard to convince my partner that we should do that, although we had spent thousands of points redeeming something that we really didn't need - an IPOD shuffle. Fortunately or Unfortunately, we still had not received anything from the bank after 30 days and we exchanged some emails with the bank to say that since it had taken so long and there was no sign for the goods to show up. In light of this, we decided not to redeem the Ipod shuffle, instead we wanted to claim back the points we used before. Thankfully, we didn't have to have to much fight with the blood sucker to achieve our goal this time. After all this hassles, I eventually could redeem something that I really wanted - a DSLR. Hurray!!!!
